Tax Rates Explorer

This tool shows statutory tax rates in Canada by order of government: the top personal income tax rate, three corporate income tax rates (general, small business, and manufacturing and processing), general sales taxes, and taxes on gasoline and diesel. It opens on the combined federal and provincial top personal income tax rate in each province for the latest year.

To use it, pick a tax, year and level of government in the panel on the left, then switch views with the tabs: compare provinces in one year, follow rates over time, see every tax in one province, or scan all rates at once. Fuel taxes have their own tab because they vary by city and change month to month. Definitions and methods are in the Notes.
