Canada's federal, provincial and territorial governments share the work of raising revenue and delivering public services, and large sums flow between them each year. Finances of the Nation brings together data and tools on these fiscal arrangements: federal transfers to provinces and territories, how federal revenue and spending are distributed across the country, and simulators that show how major programs work. The data are drawn from official sources and organized into consistent series over time.
To use it, choose a tile to open a dataset or simulator, where you can explore the figures and download them. The filters narrow the list by type.
Pictures on the tiles are illustrations, not data.
